About us

The name of PAN TERRA

PAN means ALL. Often PAN is also called the good shepherd and guardian or god of nature, of all beings and creatures. In Indian culture, SHIVA, who approaches the kingdom of nature, is called RUPAVAN. But there is so much more than is still known from ancient traditions.

What does it mean to feel the nearness of God in nature or “in nature you will meet me”?

It is the giving divinity in nature, which on one hand encloses every being with a living shell and simultaneously pours itself in as creative spirit, as light. In this process, this light intensifies more and more and thus becomes the goblet for the closeness to God in all beings of nature, such as plants, trees, stones, animals.

Thus trusting in creation, every elemental being turns to the indwelling light.
Growing out of the primeval darkness of the Earth – TERRA -, it forms, according to its nature, a physical shell and has only one aim, to develop perfectly according to that idea given by the creation, to blossom and to bear fruits.

The fruit again form seeds, in order to start again the creative cycle by diving again into the Earth.

This spirit indwelling in nature and this happening, should serve the Human being as a mirror image to remember all this in himself. This is the new Culture with Nature.

The philosophy of Pan Terra Association

We see our task in harmoniously and dynamically combining both of the above aspects within ourselves and in all our work.

Especially in this time of powerful transformations and difficult events that keep us Human beings in a state of suspense, a spirituality and cooperation with friends who enjoy each other is necessary.

Therefore, voluntary and loving people come together under the Roof of the Pan Terra Association. Individuals who contribute effectively and for the benefit and flourishing of all beings as a living community. Human beings, who always put the cooperation with the Earth-Nature and the “ESSENTIAL” in All Being in the center.

A living community, however, is not an institution with membership cards, a “need to belong” or a fixed clubhouse, but it is a community that acts as an animate being and continues to unfold as it is healthy for the development of every highly intelligent creature.

During our work on the respective projects, different streams and cultures – but all of which are nourished by the one source – unite to form the NEW and bring it to the ground.

We work in friendship as good shepherds for the preservation of nature, for the protection of Terra our Earth, for the dignity of Human beings, for the purity of Love and the natural continuation of Life.

The Pan Terra Association is recognized as a non-profit organization in the canton of Appenzell A.Rh.
