Mikhael Bouvetier has been working with Shiñ for many years in preparation for the temple’s murti artwork. The murti art, statues showing a visible embodiment of different aspects of God, is a very important part for the Gangeshvaralinga project. Especially in the murti art, the ideas of Shiñ are very much in the new era. This view into the future is a great challenge for both the visual artists and the masonry art. Here is also the great task of Mikhael, on the one hand to produce the appropriate models, and on the other hand to find suitable partners among the stonemason companies, in order to be able to implement the ideas of Shiñ accordingly.
